RAS Webinar Wrapup -2010Recycled Asphalt Shingles in Hot Mix Asphalt CMRA presented the first in a series of webinars on the use of recycled asphalt shingles (RAS) in hot mix asphalt (HMA). This first webinar addressed how two states, Iowa and Wisconsin, recently adopted DOT specifications and implemented their recycling programs. We heard from engineers from Iowa DOT and Wisconsin DOT, one of the Wisconsin HMA producers, and the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa. The focus was on how the state DOT's worked with industry during the R&D period as well as during program implementation. Speakers for this webinar included:
