Washington

At this time, Washington does not have a specification that allows the use of recycled asphalt singles.  However, they are currently researching the use of tear-off shingles with the King County Link Up Program .  There is one shingle recycling facility presently using recycled asphalt shingles.  If you are interested in recycling shingles please contact the WA Department of Ecology for information on state regulations and guidelines.
