California

Currently California does not have a state specification that includes the use of recycled asphalt shingles.  The California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) has created fact sheets about asphalt shingle recycling that can be found at:

There are currently two shingle recycling operations using manufacturers' recycled asphalt shingles in different applications.  Please contact state regulatory offices or recycling operators to find out more information below:
